COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's wrestling team opens its 2025-26 season Saturday at the Pepsi Patriot Open at The Corbin Arena in Corbin, Kentucky.

The Blue Raiders open the season receiving votes in the NAIA Preseason Coaches' Poll. Lindsey Wilson garnered 40 points in the poll and have three wrestlers ranked. Adrian Ayala is the highest-ranked Blue Raider, sitting in fifth at 141 pounds. Emmanuel Celestin starts the year ranked 22nd at 157 pounds, while Cory Cannan begins the year ranked 14th at 184 pounds.

Last season, Lindsey Wilson went 8-4 in duals and posted a fourth-place finish at the Mid-South Conference Championship. The Blue Raiders finished 33rd at the NAIA National Championship last season.

Ayala is the lone returner from last season who earned All-Conference honors and qualified for the National Championship. Jaylin Bien-Aime, Cale, Johnson, and Arlo Laxton all placed fifth at the conference championship last season.

The Pepsi Patriot Open gets underway Saturday morning at The Corbin Arena.
