Women’s Hoops Receiving Votes in Second Coaches’ Poll

COLUMBIA, Ky.- Women's basketball fell from No.24 to receiving votes in the NAIA Second Top-25 Coaches' Poll, announced league officials on Wednesday. 

The Blue Raiders received 51 points and sit at 7-2 after a loss to unranked Tennessee Southern and a notable 12 point win over previously No.15-ranked Oregon Tech. 

Dordt (Iowa) stays at the top spot with 20 first place votes and 540 points, while Mid-South Conference members Bethel (Tenn.) and Campbellsville (Ky.) stay at the two and three slots, respectively.  

Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) dropped to the seven spot, while Cumberlands (Ky.) moved up to No.18, and Georgetown (Ky.) ascended into the top-25, tying with Southeastern (Fla.) at No.23. 

Lindsey Wilson will be back in action after the Thanksgiving break to compete against Pikeville and Virginia Lynchburg on Friday and Saturday in the Campbellsville University Classic.
