CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Due to unfavorable weather and wet field conditions at Cathi Maynard Park, the decision was made to play out the remainder of the Mid-South Conference softball tournament as single-elimination.

This ruling, unfortunately, eliminates the Lindsey Wilson softball team from postseason contention because of the loss suffered to Cumberland (Tenn.) on Thursday afternoon.

The Blue Raiders and the Phoenix were scheduled for a rematch at 3:30 p.m. CST on Saturday, May 3. However, heavy rain during the morning hours in Clarksville led to this decision.

Lindsey Wilson concludes its season with a 24-20 overall record.
