Box Score CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team out-scored Brescia (Ky.) University 46-25 in the second half to rout the Bearcats 71-53 on Friday in the opening day of the Holiday Inn Classic hosted by Campbellsville (Ky.) University.

Lindsey Wilson erased a three point (28-25) halftime deficit with stellar second half shooting and stifling defense.
Lindsey Wilson made 18 of 32 shots (56.3 percent) in the second half, including three of four from behind the three-point line. The Blue Raiders (7-4) also limited the Bearcats (1-11) to 34.6 percent (9-for-26) in the second stanza to help build a 20-point second half lead.

Lindsey Wilson sophomore center Tarran Duncan led the Blue Raiders with 23 points on 10 of 15 shooting. Senior forward Demoya Williams joined Duncan to help the Blue Raiders dominate in the paint. Williams ended the night with 15 points and 15 rebounds.

Senior guard Rebecca Husband added 12 points and seven assists in the win.

Brescia's Nikki Walters led the Bearcats with 13 points.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 11 a.m. CT on Saturday against Madonna (Mich.) University in the final day of the Holiday Inn Classic.
