Box Score GEORGETOWN, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team fell 82-76 to Shawnee State (Ohio) University at the Georgetown (Ky.) College Classic on Friday night.
Lindsey Wilson falls to 4-3 on the season, while Shawnee State improves to 9-0.
Shawnee State dominated the Blue Raiders in the opening 40 minutes, out-scoring Lindsey Wilson 42-27.
Lindsey Wilson shot just 34.4 percent (11 for 32) from the field in the opening half. Shawnee State countered by shooting 16-of-28 (57.1 percent) from the field through halftime to big the 15 point lead. Shawnee State ended the night shooting 56.9 percent (29 for 51) from the field.
The Blue Raiders out-scored Shawnee State in the second stanza 49-40, but it wasn't enough.

Demoya Williams recorded a double-double with 21 points and 10 points. Sophomore center Tarran Duncan added 11 points and freshman guard
Rudy Brents contributed 10 points in the loss.
Shawnee State was led by Tara Walker's 25 points and Shannon Thomas' 24 points.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 1 p.m. CT on Saturday, December 3, as the Blue Raiders play Cedarville (Ohio) University in the final day of the Georgetown Classic.
