Box Score COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Five Lindsey Wilson players scored in double figures tonight as the women's basketball team easily defeated University of Illinois-Springfield 82-54 at Biggers Sports Center.

Terran Duncan led the Blue Raider offense with 12 points on six of 10 shooting. Duncan also grabbed 10 rebounds and blocked two Prairie Star shots.

Rebecca Husband contributed with seven points and eight rebounds.
With Lindsey Wilson leading 8-6 with 16:21 remaining in the first half, the Blue Raiders used a 16-4 run to take charge of the game with a 24-10 lead with 6:51 in the half.
Illinois-Springfield (1-10) closed the gap to 29-18 with 4:56 to play before halftime. Lindsey Wilson answered the UIS run with a 12-3 run to head into halftime leading 41-21.
The Prairie Stars scored six straight points midway through the second half to cut the Blue Raider lead to 58-45 with 8:16 left.
Lindsey Wilson responded by scoring the next six points, and 24 of the final 33 points, en route to the 82-54 win.
The Blue Raiders dominated the Prairie Stars in the paint, out-scoring the vistors 44-18 from close range. The Blue Raiders also won the battle of the bourds, out-rebounding the Prairie Stars 48-27 on the evening.
Illinois-Springfield forward Tamika Reeves led all scorers with 20 points.
Lindsey Wilson held Illinois-Springfield to 33.9 percent shooting (23.3-percent in the first half) and forced the Prairie Stars to 17 turnovers.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 6 p.m. CT on Wednesday, December 14, as the Blue Raiders host Knoxville (Tenn.) College at Biggers Sports Center.
