CORBIN, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's golf team won their second tournament of the Spring season on Monday winning the Cumberland (Ky.) College Spring Invitational.
The Blue Raiders shot a team-total of 345 to beat second place Tennessee Wesleyan College by five strokes. Cumberland finished third with a score of 364, while Campbellsville (Ky.) University shot a 381 to finished fourth.
The No. 23-ranked Blue Raiders were led by freshman
Beth Cooper's 79 over the par-72, 5,805-yard Tri-County Country Club layout. Cooper finished just one stroke off Cumberland's Jennifer Kieffer's medalist round of 78.

Jessica Robertson joined Cooper on the all-tournament team with an 86. Robertson's score was good enough for an eighth place tie.
Senior
Betsy Thomas, who also made the all-tournament team, finished tied for 10th with an 88.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action on April 7-8, as the Blue Raiders travel Stonecrest Golf Club in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, for the Mid-South Conference Spring Tournament.
