BURKESVILLE, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's golf team won by a single stroke today at the LWC Fall Invitational played at Dale Hollow State Park Golf Course.
The Blue Raiders held on to a defeat University of Mobile (Ala.) 642-643 over the 6,021 yard, par 72 Dale Hollow course.Entering today's final round, Lindsey Wilson (324-318) led the Rams (328-315) by four strokes. But Mobile turned its four stroke deficit into an eight stroke lead at the turn.
Lindsey Wilson fought back playing the final four holes as a team at even par to win by one stroke.
Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) University finished third with a two-day total of 680 (339-341), while Georgetown (Ky.) College finished fourth with a 686 (346-340).
Mobile freshman Maegan Rice won the individual title with a two-day total of 154 (77-77).
Lindsey Wilson sophomore
Aline Decker finished second with a total of 157 (75-82) to earn a spot on the all-tournament team.
Blue Raider junior
Jessica Robertson (86-74), who had the low round of the day with a 74, finished tied for fourth with freshman teammate Cheslee Elkins (78-82) with a 160. Both joined Decker on the all-tournament team.
Lindsey Wilson junior
Lindsay Roberts shot 165 (85-50) to finish tied for ninth, while senior
Stacy McClain shot a 183 (92-91) to finish tied for 25th. Freshmen
Cecilee Harlan recorded a pair of 84's to shoot 168 to finish tied for 13th as an individual.

Beth Cooper did not play due to an injury.
