Box Score COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team committed a program-record 43 turnovers in a 102-81 loss to visiting Berea (Ky.) College on Monday night at Biggers Sports Center.
Berea (3-0) scored 50 points off the 43 Lindsey Wilson turnovers to overcome a 54-35 rebounding deficit. Berea also made five more three point baskets than the Blue Raiders (0-2).
Lindsey Wilson shot just 38.7 percent (12-of-31) in the opening half, including 0-for-3 from beyond the three-point arc. The Blue Raiders trailed 42-33 at the half.
Berea, who shot 23 threes in the first half, used the three-pointer and a frenetic style of offense to build its halftime lead, out-scoring Lindsey Wilson 15-0 from deep. Berea ended the half shooting 35.9 percent (14-of-39) from the field.
In the second half, Lindsey Wilson managed to shoot nearly 55 percent from the field, but was unable to shut down the potent Lady Mountaineer offense. Berea nearly matched Lindsey Wilson offensive production, shooting 51 percent (21-of-41) from the field to coast to the win.

Terran Duncan led four Blue Raiders in double figures. Duncan ended with 17 points. Juniors
Kera Gibson and
Kara Osterfeld each added 11 points, while junior
Moneta Anderson contributed 10 points.
Berea's Rebecca May scored a game-high 27 points on 8-of-13 shooting, including 6-of-10 threes. LaShondra Gray added 17 points.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 6 p.m. CST on Wednesday, November 8, as the Blue Raiders play host to Langston (Texas) University at Biggers Sports Center.
