Box Score LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- Four Blue Raiders scored in double figures as the Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team beat Wayland Baptist (Texas) University 60-57 in the Disney NAIA Basketball Challenge at the Wide World of Sports Complex.

Lindsey Wilson junior Terran Duncan led the Blue Raiders with 17 points, while junior Krystal Jackson added 12 points on 5-of-6 shooting.
The Blue Raiders shot a season-high 68.4 percent (13-of-19) from the field in the first half, but they managed only a 32-32 tie at the break.

Lindsey Wilson (3-12) opened the second half with a 12-2 run to take a 44-34 lead with 12:38 left. Five Blue Raiders scored during the run with senior Shola Aladejebi scoring four of her 10 points during the run.

The Blue Raiders extended their lead to 12 points twice and led 53-41 following a pair of free throws by junior Kara Osterfeld with 6:52 left. Osterfeld finished with 11 points.

Duncan scored the final Blue Raider field goal with 4:17 left to give Lindsey Wilson a 58-49 lead.

The Flying Queens (7-4) made their final run thanks to a number of Lindsey Wilson miscues.

Over the final four minutes, the Blue Raiders missed all four of their shots, committed two turnovers and were 2-of-8 from the free throw line.

An 8-1 Wayland Baptist run cut the Lindsey Wilson lead to 59-57 with with 14 seconds left.

The Flying Queens then fouled Jackson with 11 seconds left. Jackson hit the first free throw but missed the second to give Wayland Baptist a final chance.

Wayland Baptist's final attempt fell just short and the Blue Raiders escaped with the 60-57 win.

For the game, Lindsey Wilson shot 55 percent (22-of-40) from the field, but just 51.9 percent (14-of-27) from the free throw line.

The Blue Raider defense limited the Flying Queens to 34.6 percent (18-of-52) from the field, including 33.3 percent (6-of-18) from beyond the three-point arc.

Wayland's Edite Kresa tied Duncan with game-high honors with 17 points.
