CORBIN, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson women's golf team won the University of the Cumberlands Spring Invitational in their first meet of the spring schedule this weekend at the Tri-County Golf Club.
The No. 17 Blue Raiders shot 672 (341-331) over the 5,818-yard, par 72 Tri-County course. Campbellsville (Ky.) University finished second with a final mark of 691 (349-342).
Lindsey Wilson was led by sophomore
Beth Cooper's third place individual finish. Cooper fired a 161 (82-79) over the two days. Sophomore
Jessica Robertson ended the invitational at 162 (84-78) to finish fourth. Cooper and Robertson each earned all-tournament.
Freshman
Aline Decker finished eighth with a two-day total of 169 (87-82), sophomore
Lindsay Roberts was tied for 15th with 180 (88-92) and junior
Stacy McClain was 20th with a final tally of 190 (95-95).
Lindsey Wilson returns to the links on April 6, as the Blue Raiders participate in the Georgetown College Invitational at Cherry Blossom Golf Club.
