Box Score PRESTONSBURG, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College tennis teams defeated Pikeville (Ky.) College on Tuesday before the Blue Raiders even arrived in Prestonsburg, Kentucky.

The No. 7 Blue Raider men won 8-1 and the No. 7-ranked women were victorious 7-2. Pikeville men had three players while the women only had two players, forcing the Bears to forfeit any match which they could not fill.
In the men's lone doubles competition, Daniel Finn and Ray Hishmeh defeated the Bears 9-8. Finn (6-2, 6-1) and Nick Thrasher (6-4, 6-7, 7-6) were each victorious in their singles matches. Jacob Denny was defeated 3-6, 4-6.

On the women's side, the doubles team of Marla Rogers and Erin Williams lost 6-8 to Pikeville. Katasha Roaden won 7-5, 6-3 and Williams lost 6-7, 4-6 in the two singles matches.

The Lindsey Wilson men improve to 14-2 this season and 4-0 in the Mid-South Conference. The Blue Raider women now stand at 15-2 overall and 4-0 in conference play.
