GEORGETOWN, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) College women's golf team won the NAIA Region XI Championship today at Cherry Blossom Golf Club.
The title is the Blue Raiders' second consecutive regional crown and should guarantee a berth in next month's NAIA National Championships in South Bend, Indiana. The region tournament had just four teams, two shy of the necessary six teams to receive an automatic bid into the national tournament.
No. 13-ranked Lindsey Wilson finished the two-day tournament with a 669 (344-325) over the 6,004-yard, par 72 layout. Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) University finished second with a 707 (355-352).

Jessica Robertson (166 = 90-76), Lambuth (Tenn.) University's Leslie Garside (165 = 83-82) and Lindsey Wilson's
