LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's golf team won their second tournament of the season today at the Transylvania (Ky.) University Fall Invitational played at the University Club.
The Blue Raiders fired a team-total of 335 over the 5,853-yard Wildcat Course at the University Club in their second tournament of the fall season.
Lindsey Wilson freshman Cheslee Elkins led the Blue Raiders to the win with her first collegiate win in just her second start.
Elkins, a Greensburg, Kentucky, native, shot an 80 to beat sophomore teammate
Aline Decker (81) by one shot.

Jessica Robertson (82) and
Beth Cooper (84) finished third and sixth respectively. All four Blue Raiders made all-tournament.

Stacy McClain finished tied for seventh with an 89, while junior
Lindsay Roberts' 94 was good enough to tie for 18th.
Campbellsville (Ky.) University finished second with a team-total of 363, while Bellarmine (Ky.) University finished third with a team-total of 377.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Monday, October 2, as the Blue Raiders travel to Campbellsville for the Mid-South Conference Fall Tournament. The two-day tournament, being played at Campbellsville Country Club, will conclude on Tuesday, October 3.
