Box Score COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team lost to Brescia (Ky.) University 75-55 on Monday night in Owensboro, Kentucky.

Lindsey Wilson (5-14) shot 37.5 percent (18-of-48) from the field, and shot 89.5 percent (17-of-19) from the charity stripe.
Lindsey Wilson trailed the Bearcats (8-11) by a score of 24-36 at halftime. The Bearcats outscored the Blue raiders 39-31 in the second half to break a three game losing streak at home.

Lindsey Wilson junior center Terran Duncan led the Blue Raiders in scoring with 19 points and racked up three rebounds in the loss. Senior Tiffany Reid contributed 14 points, and three assists.

Four Bearcats totaled double-digit scores to lead Brescia to the victory. Danielle Jenkins led the Bearcats with 21 points, Andrea Self and Jessica Bearzatto both contributed 14 points. Paula Carver added 13 points in the win.

The Bearcats shot 54.5 percent (30-of-55) for the game, including 5-of-10 shooting from behind the three-point arc.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 4 p.m. CST on Tuesday, January 9, as the Blue Raiders host Chowan (N.C.) University at Biggers Sports Center.
