OLD HICKORY, Tenn. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's golf team won their third tournament of the season today at the Lady Trojan Fall Invitational hosted by Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) University.

The Blue Raiders shot a two-day total of 621 (313-308) over the 6,056-yard, par-72 President's Reserve at the Hermitage Golf Course to win by 31 strokes over second place University of Mobile (Ala.). Mobile shot 652 (330-322) over the two-day tournament.

Lindsey Wilson sophomore Krista Burton won her second tournament of the season and her ninth in 10 career tournaments to lead five Blue Raiders on the all-tournament team.

Burton shot a two-day total of 149 (75-74) to win by three strokes over Mobile's Maegan Rice's 152 (78-74).

Lindsey Wilson senior Beth Cooper (75-80) and sophomore Cheslee Elkins (81-74) tied for third with 155s and junior Aline Decker -- playing as an individual -- finished fifth with a 162 (83-79).

LWC freshman Chelsey Key (82-81) and Mobile's Sammy Goettch (85-78) tied for sixth with 163s to round out the all-tournament team.

Lindsey Wilson senior Jessica Robertson just missed the all-tournament team, finishing seventh with a total of 166 (86-80).

Lincoln Memorial (Tenn.) University finished third with a two-day total of 686 (343-343) and host Trevecca Nazarene ended in fourth with a 719 (363-356). Bethel (Tenn.) College finished fifth with a 720 (369-351).

Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Monday, October 15, as the Blue Raiders travel to Rome, Ga., for the Stonebridge Invitational hosted by Berry (Ga.) College.
