Box Score OAKLAND CITY, Ind. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team dropped their third straight game tonight with a 67-62 loss at Oakland City (Ind.) University.
Lindsey Wilson continued its season-long struggles on the offensive end shooting just 37.5 percent (24-of-64) from the field. The Blue Raiders have made half their shots in a game this season just once in the first eight games.
The Blue Raiders (4-4) continued their trend of dominance of the boards, out-rebounding the host Lady Oaks (1-3) 50-29. Lindsey Wilson pulled down 23 offensive rebounds.
Lindsey Wilson also ended the game scoring three more field goals than Oakland City, but could not overcome the deficit at the free throw line. Oakland City outscored the Blue Raiders 18-8 from the charity stripe.
Lindsey Wilson senior guard Krystal Jackson led the Blue Raiders with 18 points and senior center Terran Duncan chipped in 14 points. Senior guard Kera Gibson added 12.
Oakland City's Karissa Walter led the Lady Oaks with 16 points and Shannon Hinkle added 14 in the win.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 5 p.m. CT on Thursday, November 29, as the Blue Raiders travel to Indiana University Southeast in New Albany.
