Box Score COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team bounced back from a season-opening loss with a 101-78 win over visiting Berea (Ky.) College tonight at Biggers Sports Center.
Five Blue Raiders scored in double figures led by senior guard Krystal Jackson and senior center Terran Duncan with 16 points each. Jackson also contributed 10 assists for her first double-double of the season.
All but one Blue Raider scored in the game as Lindsey Wilson shot 48.3 percent (42-of-87) from the field and out-rebounded Berea 67-42. The Lindsey Wilson defense limited Berea (1-1) to just 32.5 percent (26-of-80) shooting from the field.
Lindsey Wilson senior Kera Gibson scored 14 points, senior Beonka Weems added 12 and senior Kara Osterfeld chipped in 10 in the win.
Berea's Brittany Manns scored a team-high 16 points.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 7 p.m. CT on Friday, Nov. 9, as the Blue Raiders face Madonna (Mich.) University in Campbellsville, Ky.
