Box Score CAMPBELLVILLE, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team shot dropped their third straight game with a 70-65 loss tonight to Harris-Stowe State College at the Campbellsville (Ky.) University Classic.
Harris-Stowe used a 13-4 run to turn a two-point deficit into a seven-point lead late in the second half.
After trailing 52-46 midway through the second half, Lindsey Wilson scored the next eight points to take a 54-52 lead with 8:40 left. The lead would be the Blue Raiders (5-7) last.
Harris-Stowe (7-4) used its decisive run over the next six minutes and secured the 70-65 win down the stretch making 5-of-8 free throws in the final two minutes.
The Blue Raiders shot just 39.1 percent (25-of-64) from the field while allowing Harris-Stowe to make half (26-of-52) of its shots.
Lindsey Wilson senior center Terran Duncan led the Blue Raiders with 19 points. Senior forward Moneta Anderson added 12 points and senior guard Kera Gibson added 11 points.
Harris-Stowe forward Sheri Jones scored a team-high 16 points and guard Carmen Weaver added 12 points in the win.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 3 p.m. CT on Wednesday, Dec. 19, as the Blue Raiders face Dillard (La.) University at Campbellsville.
