Box Score CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team fell to No. 20-ranked Lambuth (Tenn.) University 67-60 tonight at the Citizen's Bank Classic hosted by Campbellsville (Ky.) University.
Lindsey Wilson shot 50 percent (22-of-44) from the field and out-rebounded the Lady Eagles (6-4) 31-27 but committed 21 turnovers en route to the loss.
Lambuth overcame a five point second half deficit to avoid the Blue Raiders (5-5) upset bid. The Lady Eagles closed the game with an 11-4 run to win their fifth straight game.
Lindsey Wilson senior center Terran Duncan led the Blue Raiders (5-5) with 12 points. Freshman forward Viktoria Krell added 10 points and a team-high eight rebounds.
Lambuth sophomore center Donna Levea scored a game-high 22 points and pulled down 12 rebounds. Junior guard Yolanda Johnson added 18 points.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 3 p.m. CT on Saturday, December 8, as the Blue Raiders face Shawnee State (Ohio) University at Campbellsville in the final day of the Citizen's Bank Classic.
