Terran Duncan has been named Mid-South Conference women's basketball Player of the Week for the week ending February 24, 2007, according to the conference.
Duncan, an Edmonton, Ky., native, averaged 19 points and 8.5 rebounds in the Blue Raiders' wins over Pikeville (Ky.) College and Georgetown (Ky.) College.
Duncan made 54 percent (15-of-28) of her shots during the week and 80 percent (8-of-10) of her free throws.
On the season, Duncan leads the Blue Raiders in scoring -- 15.5 points per game -- and is second on the team in rebounding (5.6).
The MSC award is Duncan's second conference player of the week award this season and the third of her career. Earlier this season, Duncan was also named the NAIA National Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
Lindsey Wilson is 15-15 on the season. The Blue Raiders finished 9-1 in the Mid-South Conference this season, winning the program's first regular season title.
The Blue Raiders return to action at 5 p.m. CT on Saturday, March 3, in the semifinals of the Mid-South Conference Tournament in Frankfort, Ky.
Lindsey Wilson -- the tournament's top-seed -- faces the winner of Friday's first round game between No. 4-seed Campbellsville (Ky.) University and No. 5-seed Georgetown.
