Box Score MOBILE, Ala. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's and women's tennis teams advanced into the NAIA National Tournament's quarterfinals with second-round wins today at the Mobile Tennis Center.

The fourth-seeded Lindsey Wilson women beat unseeded Union (Ky.) College 5-0 to advance into the final eight against fifth-seeded Vanguard (Calif.) University on Wednesday.
The eighth-seeded Blue Raider men needed a come-from-behind effort to beat unseeded Point Loma Nazarene (Calif.) University 5-4. The Lindsey Wilson men will face top-seeded Auburn University-Montgomery on Wednesday.

In the women's match, Lindsey Wilson won all three doubles' points to take a 3-0 lead after doubles action.

LWC sophomores Natalie Yakimovich and Fadzai Mawisire -- who teamed in doubles play to win 8-2 -- closed out the match with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 singles.

The remainder of the matches were stopped after the Blue Raiders reached the five-point total.

Lindsey Wilson faces Vanguard -- who beat unseeded Southern Nazarene (Okla.) University 5-1 today -- at 1 p.m. CDT on Wednesday.

The Lindsey Wilson men fell behind 2-1 following doubles' play before winning four of the six singles' points to beat Point Loma Nazarene 5-4.

Lindsey Wilson senior Leandro Gubler clinched the Blue Raider win in a tie-break. Gubler beat Point Loma's Philip Wolf 4-6, 6-3, 7-6 (1).

Lindsey Wilson faces AUM -- who beat unseeded Southern Nazarene (Okla.) University 5-1 today -- at 9 a.m. CDT on Wednesday.
