Box Score COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team shot 56.3 percent in the second half to race past visiting Oakland City (Ind.) University 75-63 on Wednesday night at Biggers Sports Center.
After a lethargic first half where the Blue Raiders (11-8) shot just 31 percent (9-of-29) and led 24-23, Lindsey Wilson scored 51 points out of the locker room to avenge an early season loss to the Lady Oaks.
Lindsey Wilson senior center Terran Duncan led the charge scoring a game-high 20 points on 9-of-14 shooting from the field. Senior guard Kera Gibson added 16 points, including making five three-pointers.
The Blue Raiders -- who never trailed in the game -- finished making 44.3 percent from the field (27-of-61) and out-rebounding the Lady Oaks (5-12) 48-31.
Lindsey Wilson senior forward Kara Osterfeld finished with 10 points and six assists. Senior guard Krystal Jackson ended with eight points and 10 assists as the Blue Raiders won their sixth game in seven tries.
Oakland City junior guard Chelsea Miller led the Lady Oaks with 17 points and freshman forward Samantha Stahl chipped in 10 off the bench.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 3 p.m. CT on Friday, January 26, as the Blue Raiders host Temple Baptist (Ohio) College at Biggers Sports Center.
