Box Score COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team used a 23-6 run midway through the half and never looked back en route to an 86-66 win today over visiting University of Northwestern Ohio at Biggers Sports Center.
Lindsey Wilson senior center Terran Duncan led a quartet of Blue Raiders in double figures with 23 points. The Edmonton, Ky., native, also pulled down eight rebounds in just 20 minutes of play.
Lindsey Wilson junior guard Ewa Bukowska led the Blue Raider reserves as she poured in 17 of the team's 38 bench points. Freshman center Viktoria Krell added 13 points and 10 rebounds and sophomore guard Heather Clouse chipped in 12 points.
The Blue Raiders (9-8) shot 52.8 percent (19-of-36) in the opening half to build a 49-25 halftime lead. Lindsey Wilson finished the game making half (34-of-68) of their shots. Northwestern Ohio (2-12) shot just 34.7 percent (25-of-72) for the game.
Lindsey Wilson extended its lead to as many as 34 points (61-27) early in the second half and coasted to 86-66 win.
Northwestern Ohio freshman forward Krissy Koester led the Racers with 14 points in the loss.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 6 p.m. CT on Thursday, January 10, as the Blue Raiders host Brescia (Ky.) University at Biggers Sports Center.
