Box Score COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team played suffocating defense which helped the Blue Raiders cruise to a 76-55 win tonight at Biggers Sports Center.
The Blue Raiders held Indiana University Southeast (3-2) to 34.5 percent (20-of-58) shooting from the field and out-rebounded the Grenadiers 46-34. 
Offensively, Lindsey Wilson had three players score in double figures. Junior guard Sierra Rambert led the way with 24 points on 8-of-13 shooting. Sophomore center Viktoria Krell added 17 points and six rebounds.
Sophomore forward Bethany Spillman recorded a double-double, scoring 10 points and pulling down 10 rebounds.
Lindsey Wilson (5-0) opened the first half sluggish but began to pull away as the game wore on. With 1:58 remaining in the first half the Blue Raiders grabbed their biggest lead of the half -- seven points on a three-pointer from Rambert.
At halftime the Blue Raiders led 32-29.
The offense began to click in the second half as Lindsey Wilson scored 44 points on 48 percent (14-of-29) shooting. A series of runs sealed the game.
The Blue Raiders used an 11-2 run early in the half giving Lindsey Wilson a 49-39 lead with 10:44 remaining. Krell scored four points and grabbed two rebounds during the run.
With 3:15 remaining in the half Spillman made a lay-up which capped an 11-0 run over 3:53. The lay-up gave Lindsey Wilson its biggest lead of the game at 27 points. 
The win gives Lindsey Wilson a 5-0 start which matches the best start since the 2004-05 season.
The Blue Raiders return to action at 6 p.m. CT on Tuesday, Nov. 18 as they host Berea (Ky.) College at Biggers Sports Center.
