Box Score MCKENZIE, Tenn. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team shot a season-low 34.8 percent from the field en route to a 68-60 loss to host Bethel (Tenn.) College.
The loss is the Blue Raiders (6-1) first of the season.
In addition to its frigid shooting, Lindsey Wilson committed 24 turnovers and the Blue Raider bench was out-scored by the Wildcat reserves 22-4. The loss ends the Blue Raiders second-best start in the program's history.
Bethel improves to 6-1 on the season despite shooting just 41.4 percent (29-of-70) and committing 23 turnovers.
Lindsey Wilson junior guard Sierra Rambert led the Blue Raiders with 16 points. Sophomore center Viktoria Krell chipped in with 15 points and eight rebounds.
Bethel sophomore guard Anna Trull scored a game-high 17 points.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 2 p.m. CT on Saturday as the Blue Raiders play William Carey (Miss.) University in the final day of the Bethel College Classic.
