Box Score MOBILE, Ala. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's tennis team's season ended with a 5-3 loss to Savannah College of Art & Design (Ga.) in the NAIA National Tournament today at the Mobile Tennis Center.
SCAD advances to the national quarterfinals where they will face No. 2 seed Embry-Riddle (Fla.) University at 1 p.m. CT on Wednesday.
Lindsey Wilson dropped two of the three doubles points, losing at the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles.
Lindsey Wilson sophomore Freddy Luciani and junior Eddie Khan won the lone doubles point 8-5 over SCAD's Jan Menzen and Dima Chiriacov.
Lindsey Wilson freshmen Andrews Moraes and Andre Santos were the lone Blue Raider winners in the singles.
The pair each won in straight sets at the No. 2 and No. 3 singles.
Luciani, junior David Lopez-Heredia and sophomore Justin Martin all lost in straight sets in their singles matches. Khan's match was stopped in the third set after SCAD reached the necessary five points to advance.
Lindsey Wilson finishes the season 14-6.
