BARDSTOWN, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's golf team claimed their fourth consecutive NAIA Region XI Tournament and Mid-South Conference Tournament titles today at Bardstown Country Club at Maywood.
The Blue Raiders shot two day total of 660 (331-329) over the 5,826-yard, par 72 Maywood course.
With the regional win, Lindsey Wilson earns an automatic bid into the NAIA National Tournament at Lake San Marcos Golf Club in San Diego, Calif. May 20-23.
Lindsey Wilson College sophomore Jessica Smith earned medalist honors with her two-day total of 159 (80-79). The Louisville, native, captured her fourth straight tournament in blustery conditions that inflated scores during both rounds.
Georgetown (Ky.) College finished second following a 692 (347-345) and host Campbellsville (Ky.) University ended in third with a 700 (348-352) in a tournament.
Lindsey Wilson senior Beth Cooper finished second with a two-day total 162 (80-82) and junior Aline Decker (85-83) and freshman Chelsey Key (86-82) -- playing as individuals -- tied for third with 168s. 
Lindsey Wilson sophomore Krista Burton (86-83), Campbellsville's Cheris Evans (83-86) and Georgetown's Natalie Brown (87-82) tied for fifth with 169s.
All seven players were named to the all-region tournament team. Lindsey Wilson coach Chris Wells was named NAIA Region XI Coach of the Year following the Blue Raiders win.
The Mid-South Conference Championship was played concurrently to the region tournament.
Lindsey Wilson added the MSC Championship to their regular season title with the win.
Lindsey Wilson senior Jessica Robertson was named Mid-South Conference Player of the Year for her play during the two regular season tournament and today's tournament.
Burton, Cooper, Key, sophomore Cheslee Elkins and Georgetown freshman Jessica Collins were named to the all-conference team.
Burton, Cooper, Decker and Robertson were also named academic all-conference for being a sophomore or above and for maintaining a 3.25 grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Wells was voted by his peers as MSC Coach of the Year.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action May 20-23 at the NAIA National Tournament in San Diego.
