Box Score LAKE WALES, Fla. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team out-scored Saint Thomas (Fla.) University 11-3 in overtime to win 67-59 on Friday at the Warner (Fla.) University 2009 New Year's Invitational.
Lindsey Wilson made three of its five shots in the overtime to improve to 11-3 on the season. Saint Thomas (8-4) hit just 1-of-6 from the field in overtime and made just 28.4 percent (21-of-74) of its shots for the game en route to the loss.
All five Lindsey Wilson starters scored in double figures led by sophomore center Viktoria Krell's sixth double-double of the season. She finished with 15 points and 17 rebounds.
Junior guard Sierra Rambert finished with 14 points, senior guard Ewa Bukowska ended with 13 and sophomore guard Diondra Anthony added 11 in the win. Sophomore forward Bethany Spillman joined Krell with a double-double finishing with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Krell and Spillman helped the Blue Raiders finish the game with a 48-30 rebounding edge.
Saint Thomas' Cindy Castrillion finished with a game-high 17 points.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 1 p.m. CT on Saturday, Jan. 3, against Alice Lloyd (Ky.) College in the final day of the Warner Invitational.
