Box Score LAKE WALES, Fla. -- Lindsey Wilson College sophomore center Viktoria Krell recorded her seventh double-double of the season and second straight to help the Blue Raiders beat Alice Lloyd College 68-62 on Saturday in the final day of the Warner (Fla.) University New Year's Invitational.
Krell finished with 25 points and 16 rebounds to lead the Blue Raiders to their second win during the three-day event.
The Blue Raiders took advantage of a 27-8 free throw advantage -- while shooting just 37.3 percent (19-of-51) from the field -- to improve to 12-3 on the season. Krell made 15 for 16 from the charity stripe as the Blue Raiders made 27-of-40 freebies.
LWC senior guard Ewa Bukowska joined Krell in double figures with 16 points off the bench.
Camille Cook led Alice Lloyd (8-6) with 18 points. Kaylan Richardson chipped in 15.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 7 p.m. CT on Tuesday, Jan. 6 as the Blue Raiders travel to Oakland City University.
