BARBOURVILLE, Ky. -- Three Lindsey Wilson College men's swimmers and one relay team earned first-place finishes, including one "A" national-standard time, at the Union (Ky.) College dual on Saturday.

The Blue Raiders finished 1-1 in their first dual meet of the season, beating Bellarmine (Ky.) University, 50-16, and losing 54-32 to Union.

Freshman Daniel Lyle became the first Lindsey Wilson swimmer to complete an "A" standard, winning the 400-meter Individual Medley with a time of four minutes and 37.49 seconds.

Newcomer Jordan Green took first in the 1,650-freestyle with the only time under 20 minutes (19:59.73). Freshman Ivan Ivancic recorded a "B" standard time, winning the 100-free in 50:41, over three seconds faster than the nearest competitor.

Ivancic, Lyle and freshmen Daniel Pulliam and Alex Medley combined to win the 400-free relay with a time of 3:30.63.

Lindsey Wilson takes an extended break before returning to the pool on Dec. 4-5 at the Asbury College Invitational in Wilmore, Ky.
