Box Score CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- Despite shooting a season-best 56.8 percent from the field, the Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team fell 61-56 on Friday to Indiana Wesleyan University at the Powell Athletic Center.
The Blue Raiders (7-3) finished the evening shooting a higher percentage from the field -- Indiana Wesleyan shot 41.8 percent -- and out-rebounded their opponents 32-27. But Lindsey Wilson couldn't overcome IWU's 13 three-pointers.
The No. 8-ranked Wildcats connected on 13-of-32 three-pointers to send Lindsey Wilson to its second straight loss.
Lindsey Wilson senior guard Sierra Rambert led the Blue Raiders with 19 points on 8-for-12 shooting. Junior center Viktoria Krell chipped in 15 points.
Indiana Wesleyan's Kayla Thompson led the Wildcats with 15 points.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action for the last time before the Christmas break as the Blue Raiders host Midway (Ky.) College at 4 p.m. CT at Biggers Sports Center.
