OAKLAND CITY, Ind. -- Junior Bethany Spillman scored a team-high 21 points and her classmate Viktoria Krell added 19 to help the Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team escape with an 82-79 win at Oakland City (Ind.) University on Saturday at the Johnson Center.

Sophomore Lindsey Waters recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds, while Samantha Stall led the Lady Oaks with a season-high 26 points.

After leading by 11 points with two minutes to play, Lindsey Wilson allowed Oakland City to fight back within three with 30 seconds on the clock.

Junior Diondra Anthony was put on the line for the Blue Raiders where she missed both free throws. The Lady Oaks, however, turned the ball over on the ensuing possession, allowing Lindsey Wilson to hold on for the win.

Lindsey Wilson shot 42.3 percent from the field for the game and 28.6 percent from the three-point line. Oakland City hit 46.8 percent from the field and 50.0 percent from behind the arc on 8-of-16 shooting.

The Blue Raiders improve to 7-1 on the season, while Oakland City falls to 2-5.
