Box Score GEORGETOWN, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College sophomore center Viktoria Krell scored a career-high 30 points and grabbed 17 rebounds to help the Blue Raiders beat host Georgetown (Ky.) College 70-64 today at Alumni Gymnasium.
Lindsey Wilson (21-7, 7-3 in the Mid-South Conference) built a 15-point first half lead and led 34-22 at halftime before the Tigers (15-14, 4-7) made a run to open the second half.
Georgetown scored the second half's first 10 points and grabbed a three point lead midway through the half.
But Lindsey Wilson regained the momentum and eventually the lead en route to the win and a season sweep of the Tigers.
Lindsey Wilson junior Sierra Rambert -- who didn't play Thursday due to an illness -- came off the bench to score 11 points.
Georgetown's Makaine Huffer led the Tigers with 16 points.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 5 p.m. CT on Thursday, Feb. 26, as the Blue Raiders travel to West Virginia Tech in Montgomery, W.Va.
