Box Score COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's tennis team won the Mid-South Conference regular season championship by defeating Georgetown (Ky.) College on Wednesday 8-1 at the Lindsey Wilson Tennis Courts.
Lindsey Wilson (7-4, 3-0 in the Mid-South Conference) won the singles matches 5-1 and swept the doubles matches 3-0.
Reigning MSC Player of the Week, junior Freddy Luciani won his fifth straight singles match defeating Matias Carcamo 6-4, 6-1.
Sophomores Andre Santos (6-1, 6-1), Andrews Moraes (6-3, 6-3), Falk Debeenhower (6-0, 6-3) and senior Edward Khan (6-4, 6-4) all won in straight sets.
Junior Justin Martin (0-6, 1-6) suffered the lone defeat in the singles matches.
In the doubles matches, Moraes and Santos defeated Miguel Reyes and Paul Ganev 8-3 in the number one match. Luciani and Khan cruised 8-4 and Debeenhower and Martin rolled with an 8-2 victory.
The Blue Raiders have won five straight matches since opening their season 2-4.
