GEORGETOWN, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's tennis team defeated Georgetown (Ky.) College 5-1 today winning the Mid-South Conference Championship and earning a birth to the NAIA National Tournament.

Junior Freddy Luciani (6-2, 6-2), sophomore Andrews Moraes (6-4, 6-4) and sophomore Falk Debeenhower (6-1, 6-0) all won in straight sets in the singles matches.

In the doubles matches, Luciani and Khan won 8-4 and Debeenhower and junior Justin Martin cruised to an 8-2 victory.

The lone loss of the tournament came when Moraes and sophomore Andre Santos lost 8-5 in the number one match.

The Blue Raiders were also the regular season Mid-South Champions and finished the 2009 season undefeated in conference play.
