COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Junior Chelsey Key set the Lindsey Wilson College women's golf single-round record Tuesday with a four-under par 68 (35-33) in the final round of the LWC Fall Invitational at The Pines at Lindsey Wilson. The Blue Raiders won the team title with a score of 607 (307-300) and Key grabbed her first individual title.
Lindsey Wilson's second-round score of 300 is the second lowest total in program history. Key led the way with nine birdies over two days, finishing the event with a school record three-under par 141 (73-68). Senior Krista Burton finished second on the team and tied for third in the overall standings, carding a six-over par 150 (76-74). 
The team title wasn't settled until the final score card was turned in. 
University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) finished runner-up three strokes behind Lindsey Wilson with a 610 (311-299). Lee (Tenn.) University shot 649 (328-321) to take third, while Campbellsville (Ky.) University claimed fourth place with a score of 660 (338-322). St. Catharine (Ky.) College finished fifth, carding an 822 (407-415).
Senior Jessica Smith tied for fifth for the Blue Raiders with a 154 (79-75). Smith dropped four strokes off her first-round total, shooting a three-over par 75 in the second round. Sophomore Paola Gonzalez finished with a 162 (79-83). Freshman Kelsey Joslyn rounded out the Blue Raider team with a score of 166 (82-84).
Lindsey Wilson freshman Jennifer MacKinnon led the group of Blue Raiders playing as individuals with a 158 (81-77) over two rounds. Senior Cheslee Stone finished with a score of 159 (80-79) and freshman Paige Raine carded a 168 (86-82). Freshman Devon Dunn and senior Shaina Bowen rounded out the LWC finishers with scores of 222 (114-108) and 230 (116-114), respectively.
Key, Burton and Smith were named to the all-tournament team for Lindsey Wilson. Cumberlands freshmen McKinzie Price (145) and Laura Beth Harris (154) and junior Emma Cutmore (150) also earned all-tournament honors. The top-six finishers in the event were named to the team. 
Lindsey Wilson returns to action Sept. 10-11 in the University of the Cumberlands Invitational at Crooked Creek Country Club in London, Ky.
