WILMINGTON, Ohio -- Jairus Kipkemoi continued his stellar season with another win today at the Wilmington College Invitational on Friday.
Kipkemoi ran the 8,000 meter course in 24 minutes and 41 seconds to win by six seconds over his nearest competitor. Kipkemoi helped the Blue Raiders to a 21st place finish in the 28-team event.
Lindsey Wilson scored 599 team points. Tiffin University won the title with 49 points.
Lindsey Wilson's Matthew Mattingly recorded the second best time for the Blue Raiders with a 29:40. Mattingly ended in 212th place overall. Blake Hendricks crossed the line in 228th place with a time of 29:55.
Oskars Bormanis (30:57), Andrew Wright (31:09) and Anthony Saylor (37:03) complete the Blue Raider harriers.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 23, as the Blue Raiders travel to the Southeastern Classic in Rome, Ga.
