Box Score COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Michelle Copley, Viktoria Krell and Ashley Rainey all scored 17 points to lead the Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team to an 86-60 win over Alice Lloyd (Ky.) College on Tuesday at Biggers Sports Center.
Copley buried five three pointers, including three in the first half, helping the Blue Raiders take a 42-23 lead into halftime. The junior from Dunnville, Ky., took just 10 threes on the night, hitting half for a 50-percent mark.
Krell finished with a double-double, adding 13 rebounds to her 17 points. Rainey pulled down seven boards and Diondra Anthony dished out a game-high five assists with just one turnover.
Gemma Gray paced the Lady Eagles with 11 points and five rebounds as the only Alice Lloyd player in double figures.
Lindsey Wilson (2-1) shot 51.7 percent from the field and outrebounded the Lady Eagles 45-24. The 3-point line is where the Blue Raiders did most of their damage, knocking down 9-of-21 (42.9 percent) attempts.
Alice Lloyd shot just 41.7 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from three. The Lady Eagles took just two free throws on the night, hitting one. Lindsey Wilson knocked down 17 of its 25 attempts from the line.
The Blue Raiders return to action at 5 p.m. CT on Nov. 23 against Berea (Ky.) College in Biggers Sports Center.
