Box Score LEBANON, Ill -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team won its second straight game at the McKendree (Ill.) University Classic in as many days on Saturday with a 60-55 win over the host Bearcats.
The No. 18-ranked Blue Raiders improve to 5-1 on the season with the win. No. 25-ranked McKendree falls to 2-7 with the loss.
Lindsey Wilson senior Viktoria Krell led the Blue Raiders with 22 points and nine rebounds. Senior Diondra Anthony added 10 points.
The Blue Raiders won their fourth straight game despite shooting just 41.7 percent (25-of-60) from the field. Lindsey Wilson entered the game making an NAIA-best 55.8 percent of its shots on the season.
While Lindsey Wilson struggled with its shot, the Blue Raiders held McKendree to 41.2 percent (21-of-51) from the field and forced the host into 17 turnovers.
McKendree's Katie Fullerton scored a team-high 21 points.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 5 p.m. CT on Thursday, Dec. 5, as the Blue Raiders travel to University of Virginia's College at Wise for both team's Mid-South Conference opener.
