BARBOURVILLE, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College swimming team dropped matches to Union (Ky.) College and Milligan (Tenn.) College on Saturday.

The Blue Raiders lost to host Union 62-20 and fell 72-17 to Milligan. Lindsey Wilson is in its first season of collegiate swimming.

Freshman Ivan Ivancic produced the highlight of the weekend for LWC swimming with a NAIA National A Standard qualifying time in the 400-yard individual medley.

Ivancic won the event with a time of 4 minutes and 34.23 seconds. He beat freshman teammate Daniel Lyle by nearly seven seconds in the event.

The national qualifying mark is the third for Ivancic and the eighth for the first-year program. He also has qualified for the 200-yard freestyle and the 100-yard backstroke.

Lyle also has three qualifying marks along with a pair of team relay marks from earlier this season.
