ST. CATHARINE, Ky. -- Four Blue Raiders scored in double figures as the Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team closed out the regular season with an 80-53 win today at St. Catharine (Ky.) College.

With the win, Lindsey Wilson secures the No. 4-seed at next week's Mid-South Conference Tournament in Frankfort, Ky. The Blue Raiders face No. 5-seed University of Rio Grande (Ohio) who defeated Georgetown (Ky.) College 73-68 today.

Today, Lindsey Wilson limited the host Patriots (8-22, 2-12 in the MSC) to just 34 percent (18-of-53) shooting from the field and into 29 turnovers.

The Blue Raiders capitalized on the poor shooting and miscues to build as much as a 30 point lead in the second half.

Lindsey Wilson junior Viktoria Krell led the Blue Raiders with 22 points. Junior Bethany Spillman added 13 points, sophomore Lindsey Waters scored 12 and freshman Kasey Litzinger chipped in 10.

St. Catharine's Sa'de Mullins paced the Patriots with 22 points.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Thursday, March 4, in the MSC Tournament's opening round. Game times will be announced by the conference on Sunday.
