COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The 14th ranked Lindsey Wilson College men's tennis team breezed past Brescia (Ky.) University 7-1 on Friday at the Lindsey Wilson tennis courts.

The Blue Raiders opened the match on a strong foot with a sweep of the doubles points. Andre and Andrews Moraes won No. 1 singles 8-6 and Freddy Luciani and Marlon Dalpont also won 8-6 at No. 2. The third seeded pair of Antoine Pourin and Justin Martin won their match 8-5.

To seal the match, Luciani took care of No. 1 singles with a 6-0, 6-1 win, while Santos won the deciding match at No. 3 6-1, 6-1 to register the team's fifth win of the day.

The Blue Raiders improve to 4-3 overall with the win and have now won two consecutive matches.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 11 a.m. CT on Saturday, March 27 at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Ky.
