COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Kelsey Joslyn fired a 154 (74-80) to take second place in the individual-title hunt and help the Lindsey Wilson College women's golf team rally to a second-place finish in the Mid-South Conference Fall Tournament on Friday at the Pines at Lindsey Wilson.
The Blue Raiders lost a tiebreaker to Campbellsville (Ky.) University where the total score for the No. 5 players were included in the total.
Finishing the opening round down eight strokes to Campbellsville, the Blue Raiders turned things around on the second day to come within two strokes of topping the Lady Tigers.
Campbellsville and Lindsey Wilson tied with 646 strokes after regulation, but round scores of 172 for Lindsey Wilson and 170 were added for Campbellsville to give it the tournament win.
Behind Joslyn for Lindsey Wilson was freshman Kaitlin Allan shooting a combined 158 (81-77) to finish fourth overall, while senior Chelsey Key finished third on the team with a 166 (85-81).
Rounding out the top-four scores for Lindsey Wilson was sophomore Paola Gonzalez with a two-day total of 172 (87-85).
Allan's 77 was the low score of round two, giving her a combined 158 strokes. Campbellsville's Katie White won the individual title with a score of 152 (74-78) for top individual honors.
