CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's golf team finished second to Bethel (Ind.) University at the Don Bishop Invitational today at the Campbellsville Country Club.
The Blue Raiders finished the tournament with a team-total of 653 (325-328), 13 strokes behind the Pilots, who finished with a 640 (315-325).
Host Campbellsville (Ky.) University finished third with a 687 (338-349) while Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) University finished fourth with a 710 (356-354).
Lindsey Wilson freshman Kaitlin Allan finished a career-best second place finish with a two-day total of 159 (78-81). Senior Chelsey Key ended in fourth with a 161 (81-80) and sophomore Kelsey Joslyn finished sixth with a 164 (84-80).
Bethel's Katie Powell captured the tournament with a 156 (78-78).
Lindsey Wilson sophomore Jennifer MacKinnon (172) and junior Paola Gonzalez (175) finished in 13th and 18th respectively. Freshman Candace Stacy (175) tied for 18th playing as an individual.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Oct. 11-12 as the Blue Raiders travel to the Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) University Invitational in Nashville, Tenn.
