Box Score BARBOURVILLE, Ky. -- Andre Santos won at No. 3 singles and teamed with Andrews Moraes at No. 1 doubles for another win, but 11th ranked Union (Ky.) College swept the lower singles' and doubles' seeds to beat the 13th ranked Lindsey Wilson College men's tennis team 7-2 on Sunday.
Senior Andre Santos picked up the other point for the Blue Raiders with a 6-4, 6-1 win at No. 3 singles against Pierre Vernin. Sophomore Victor Saez lost a tough match at No. 1 singles, falling to Union's Nicolas Ernst 6-4, 7-6 (3).
Santos and Moraes made quick work of the Bulldogs at the top doubles position, knocking off Ernst and Vernin 8-0.
Union tallied three quick singles' points at the fourth through sixth seeds with a pair of straight set wins and a 6-0, 6-2 decision to put away the Blue Raiders.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 1 p.m. CT on March 1 at Cumberland (Tenn.) University in Lebanon, Tenn.
