PRESTONSBURG, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's golf team moved up one spot on Tuesday to finish runner-up at the Mid-South Conference Spring Tournament at StoneCrest Golf Club.

With the second place finish -- coupled with University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) win and Campbellsville (Ky.) University's third place finish -- the Blue Raiders share the MSC regular season title with Campbellsville and Cumberlands.

The regular season title is the seventh straight for the Blue Raiders. They have shared the title with Campbellsville and Cumberlands the last two seasons.

Today, Lindsey Wilson shot a second round team-total 330 to finish the tournament with a total of 667 (337-330). The Blue Raiders finished 16 strokes behind winner Cumberlands, who shot 651 (322-329).

Campbellsville finished third with a 672 (333-339) while Georgetown (Ky.) College's 804 (390-414), St. Catharine (Ky.) College's 825 (406-419) and Pikeville (Ky.) College's 978 (481-497) completes the six-team field.

Four Blue Raiders finished in the top seven of the 34-woman field, led by freshman Kaitlin Allan's 161 (82-79). Allan finished fourth overall six strokes off the lead.

Freshman Candace Stacy earned her best-ever finish with a fifth place finish playing as an individual for the Blue Raiders. Stacy finished the two rounds with a total of 163 (81-82).

Sophomore Kelsey Joslyn finished sixth with a 165 (84-81) while junior Paola Gonzalez finished seventh with a 167 (83-84). Senior Chelsey Key finished 13th overall following a 174 (86-84) and sophomore Jennifer MacKinnon ended in 16th place with a two-day total of 180 (92-88).

Cumberlands' Laura Beth Harris claimed medalist honors after beating Campbellsville's Lauren Gooden in a playoff after the pair each finished with a total of 155 (77-78). Cumberlands' McKinzie Price finished third with a 157 (74-83).
