COLUMBIA, Ky. -- With the required five wins recorded to decide the match and inclement weather in the area, the final three singles' matches went unfinished as the Lindsey Wilson College men's tennis team made quick work of the University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) 5-1 on Saturday at the Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.

The Blue Raiders finished doubles' play with a 2-1 advantage after wins at the first and second seeds.

Seniors Andrews Moraes and Andre Santos beat Guillermo Alvarez and Danilo Garcia 8-6 at No. 1 and freshman Fabricio Morales and sophomore Victor Saez topped Oscar Pantoja and David Ujueta at No. 2.

The Patriots' Steffan Crowe and Jerrid Neeley beat freshmen Joe Cox and Clinton Berry 8-5 in the No. 3 doubles' match.

Lindsey Wilson (10-5, 2-1 MSC) recorded wins in just the top three singles' positions to finish off Cumberlands (3-15, 0-3 MSC).

Morales took care of Panteja at No. 1 7-5, 6-1, Moraes was a 6-3, 6-3 winner against Alvarez and Saez finished off the match with a 7-5, 6-3 win against Garcia.
