Box Score COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Unplayable conditions due to rain have caused the men's tennis match between Lindsey Wilson College and 22nd ranked Cumberland (Tenn.) University to be suspended with the Blue Raiders leading 4-2 last week, and when play resumed on Tuesday, the Blue Raiders finished off the Bulldogs with another win to record the 5-4 victory on the Cumberland campus.
All the matches except the number four, five and six singles' spots had been completed heading into Tuesday's make-up day. Leading 4-2, the Blue Raiders lost the five and six singles' matches Tuesday before Andre Santos wrapped up the win at No. 4 with a 6-2, 6-2 win against Jeremy Fleming.
The Blue Raiders wrapped up doubles' play on Friday with a 2-1 lead with wins at No. 1 and No. 2.
Seniors Andrews Moraes and Andre Santos teamed up at the top doubles' position to record an 8-0 win against the Bulldogs' Evan Sanna and Na'im Azhar. Sophomore Victor Saez and freshman Fabricio Morales tallied an 8-3 win against Pedro Rodriguez and Devin Crotzer.
Freshman tandem Joe Cox and Clinton Berry dropped the third doubles' match 8-2 against Cumberlands' Fleming and Christian Hernandez.
Through three singles' matches Lindsey Wilson was 2-1 as well, with the only loss coming at No. 2.
Morales was a 6-2, 6-2 winner against Sanna at the top spot, while Saez came away with a 6-1, 2-6, 6-4 win against Rodriguez before play was suspended.
Moraes lost his match at No. 2, 6-3, 7-5 against Azhar.
