Box Score 2 CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's tennis team earned a trip to the NAIA National Tournament with a pair of wins today at the NAIA Qualifying Tournament at Champions Club.
The No. 17-ranked and second-seeded Blue Raiders disposed of Tennessee Wesleyan College 6-3 in the tournament's semifinals this morning and closed the day with a 5-3 win over No. 10-ranked and top-seed Union (Ky.) College to claim the title.

In today's semifinals, the Blue Raiders top four players each tasted victory twice en route to the 6-3 win over Tennessee Wesleyan (11-6).
Lindsey Wilson's top doubles team Andrews Moraes and Andre Santos won handling 8-3 over Tennessee Wesleyan's Giovanni Santos and Juan Estevez. At No. 2 doubles, Victor Saez and Fabricio Morales won 8-6 over Nick Fynn David Escobosa to give the Blue Raiders a pair of points after doubles play.
Tennessee Wesleyan's Tanner Stancil and Eric Chastain earned their team's only doubles point with an 8-0 win over Jacob Bryant and Clinton Berry.
In singles, Lindsey Wilson won at the top four spots to close the match with a 6-3 win. Morales, Moraes, Saez and Santos each won in straight sets to punch the Blue Raiders' ticket into the finals.
In almost a carbon copy of the semifinals, the top of the Blue Raiders' lineup led the team a 5-3 win over favorite Union.
Once again the top two doubles seeds for the Blue Raiders (14-5) won by identical 8-4 scores to give Lindsey Wilson a 2-1 lead heading into singles play.
Saez and Santos pushed the Lindsey Wilson total to four wins after their straight set wins at the No. 3 and 4 singles matches.
Morales closed out the win with a 6-2, 6-0 dominating performance over Union's No. 1 seed Nicolas Ernst.
The win is the Blue Raiders 12th straight heading into national tournament play.
